Glycine Art Piece

The Work of Art

A bronze wall sculpture was born from a singular conviction: an exceptional jewel deserves a setting worthy of it, even when it is not being worn. A sumptuous bronze wisteria branch designed to hold the jewelled clusters of an extraordinary necklace. The organic form of the branch naturally follows the fall of the jewel, supporting it with the same grace as a neck would. Placed on a wall, it transforms the interior space. The necklace becomes a presence, even when absent from its usual case. The work enters into dialogue with it, extends it, and offers it a second life on the wall.

Glycine is one of the rarest flowers in jewellery history, barely seven pieces are recorded in creations worldwide. Its cascading structure, suspended clusters and apparent lightness defy the codes of traditional jewellery. The Glycine work rises to this challenge in solid bronze, on an architectural scale.
